Like a river, although the river seems slogged down with mud, I've been making forward momentum. I'm still writing and still working with other writers. I get so bogged when I come to certain curves in the terrain that it seems I'll never return to blogging, but eventually, I do. I always do.

When writing is my day job, writing for recreation takes on a new meaning. A new feeling. A different priority.

I've been revamping my professional website, and while it still needs work, it's been my major focus.

I spent some time in an invisible cocoon, deciding how I want to spend my life, day by day, moment by moment, and it always comes back to writing and editing. It's just who I am.

My sense of humor has changed in the past few months and I can appreciate things I once thought were too base for my phony sense of self and now I laugh much more. It's time to take off the gloves and write my truth. No longer will I fear what others may think about what I have to say.

It may be time to resuscitate Forbidden Topics.
