Jigsaw Puzzle
Quietly I shout my obscene platitudes
Piercing the deafening noise of your silence
Angrily stomping on tiptoes across my heart
My own kamikaze martyrdom infuriates even me!
I am an angel
No I' m not!
A lace shrouded saint
In black leather
More than a woman
Less than a person
Not quite human
Yet higher than a chimp
I am a jigsaw puzzle
Almost completed
But what happened to that one piece?
You know the one I mean
You held it in your hands some time ago
Did you forget to return it?
I need that one piece to be complete
Otherwise you'll never recognize me.
