I don't know what about deadlines invigorates me, but as long as no one else complains, or gets in my way, I am happy. I love the rush of trying to meet the deadline and still get a quality publication out. I get a charge out of last minute assignments that take me out of the office for only a little while. I especially like it when I get to ride in Nance's Jaguar! If I'd thought of it, I would have photographed that - but that will have to wait for another day.
Today was filled with long-winded people on the telephone and lots of editing. Once again, Nance and I consumed our lunches at our computers and tried to cram 15 hours into the 8 we were in the office. We needed to go to Viera Pizza to take a photo in honor of their 5th Anniversary and I did get a few that will work for the paper, and some that amuse me, but none so much as this one. It just sort of happened. I wanted to take a shot of the pies in the window, but from a different angle.

When I opened the file later and saw the tip jar that I had not noticed while there, I was astounded. The reflection's pretty cool too.
